my friend was killed in a car accident about 2 weeks ago and I just had a dream recently that had her in it. In the dream, we were all in a classroom and I walked in and when i glanced at a desk i saw her but when I looked back she was gone. Then i told someone in the dream that i had seen her. (She is already dead in the dream) Then all of a sudden I was walking back into the class again and this time i seen her sitting at a desk and she waved and said Hi to me smiling, and she looked real happy. I think I talked to her alittle bit in the dream. Then all of a sudden in the dream I showed her my tattoo that i had actually gotten for her after she died that said "in loving memory". Well in the dream when saw my tat she started crying and it seemed like she got mad, like if she didnt know that she had died. Thats about all I remember from the dream. Does anyone know what that means?

Dreams aren't completely scientific. They do serve a higher purpose. Your friend has not passed into the light yet. She stays near the school and her friends where she was most happy. This often happens with young people and especially in sudden deaths. And it is temporary. She will be fine. You are a great friend to commemorate her in a tattoo.

Maybe it means that you are very happy to be with her but you are blaming yourself for her death because in the dream it's like you told her "I think you're dead already" even though you're talking with her. So I guess you feel like you "killed" her.

Chances are you still are grieving the loss of this friend and your subconsious is bringing her back through your dreams. Think on the good times and soon it will go away

To understand a dream, it’s helpful to keep in mind why and how we dream. When we sleep, the body and perception systems are shut down, but the brain stem continues to fire and the cortex remains active. The thoughts that have been most active during waking hours—perceptions, experiences, thoughts and feelings, processed consciously or unconsciously—are still “peaked” and they associate with other images already linked in your cortex. In other words, the brain references this content, but not in a rational way, not using input from the external real world as in waking hours. So the story connectedness isn’t like everyday experience, but rather a strange flow from one image to the next. Therefore, dreams aren’t magical messages to guide our life, but sequences of associated images taken from everyday experiences - thoughts and feelings that matter a lot to us during our waking life. So it’s a mistake to apply one-size-fits-all symbols, such as Freudian meanings or standard “dreammoods” formulas. All you need to do is think about what kind of imagery it is and how it relates to your daily life.

Quite clearly, your grieving emotions are still running their natural course, and you feel it strongly. So when you go to sleep, the feelings are still active and they associate with imagery in your memory, creating these dream sequences. They suggest that you miss her a great deal and wish she were still alive. You may continue to have dreams like this until after a period of time you begin full acceptance of the event. My heart goes out to you.

I think is too much thinking about her that bring the dream to you. You imagine that one day you will see her which will not be possible. it just tell you miss her so much.

It just means you miss your friend. The reason she got mad is because probably deep inside your sub-conscious you are mad that she is gone.Even though you know you are not mad.Basically you just miss you friend.
