Apparently the FBI had been misusing power extended to them under The Patriot Act. They misrepresented those facts to Congress, but people are saying no crime has been committed. What should we the people do about this?

Well first off, the ppl need to write, email and call our congressionpersons demanding that Gonzales be fired immeditately.

Secondly, I didn't read that blog because I don't trust blogs as sources; but, a crime was committed. I ask a question concerning this about a week ago when it first happened. I used a creditable news source.

Write your Congressman. Inform them that you do not (or do) approve of government agencies breaking the law.

And yes, there is a difference between violating a criminal statute (committing a crime) and violating some other statute (which is illegal, but not criminal).
