I think the Red Wings will win the cup. Once they get Bertuzzi playing they will be scary.

Considering they dropped the "Mighty" this season, I would say both the Stanley and the Stabley (named after the stable where they keep that horsehead on the Lames' jersey) Cups will not be theirs. Nashville--uh, win a playoff series first before you even consider a Cup run.
Given low seeds got thru past two seasons and how even the West is, put your money on Bingo Bango Bongo Roberto Luongo and the Nux to come out of the West.

I don't think any team is gonna win a "stabley cup" But my picks for the "Stanley Cup" are San Jose in the West and Ottawa Senators in the East. You heard it here first. Sens In 7.

I am picking the Ducks (you forgot they are not "mighty" any more) not just to compete, but to win it all. The reason is the presence of Neidermeyer and Pronger and a playoff-tested Goalie.
Nashville does not have the playoff experience. Of course, Carolina didn't either......
Truthfully almost no team from the West would surprise me, the statistics of 7 of the 8 playoff bound teams are almost identical.

Ducks are pretty hot, but I think the Preds are better off. With recent trades and deals they have acquired some good leadership and experience.
PS You should respect Lord Stanley's Cup and spell it right.

i think so. nashville is strong no doubt but the ducks are good too. but pronger and neidermeyer are kind of injury prone. without just one of them, the ducks dont have a chance.

Forget Nashville you've forgoten about THE DETROIT RED WINGS.I don't think the DUCKS are any worry for them.Once past Nashville the best opponent will be BUFFALO.They are playing like a TEAM should.They will be tough but, healthy I think the RED WINGS can beat them. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
