Get the rainforest swing. The papasan one is boring for baby to look at. My son has the rainforest crib toy and he loves it. They didn't have the swing when he was born...it came out right after and I wish I had gotten it. I would also recommend the rainforest jumperoo....my guy loves it, too. If you don't want to stimulate a newborn in that swing I would suggest the soothing motions glider by fischer price. We had that and it worked out great- our baby used to sleep in it. He liked it better than a bassinet as it did not lay him flat. It is great for newborns to about 3 months- then he liked his swing. At 7 months he is all about the jumperoo and could care less about the swing.

I like the rainforest swing better, myself. It's so bright, and colorful...lots of animals and such.

I would say fisher price swing i got one and it's safe and solid. that what you need for a child/children.

rain forest swing they will be able to use it better when the sit up. So he/she isn't stuck in a laying down position.
