I honestly don't remember if I read them as a kid but I did read them to my daughters. And the only title that comes to mind is Pokey Little Puppy although I know there were many others. My daughters don't read them now but I imagine they will read them to their kids~when they have some.

Harry Potter, Narnia, Lemony Snicket, Roald Dahl, Animorphs, Goosebumps, Nancy Drew, Enid Blyton, Junie B Jones, Jacqueline Wilson's books... i think of it somewhat is maximum of it. :D

I remember those. I had a whole lot of them. The first one that comes to mind is "The Saggy Baggy Elephant."
