Of course they are envious looking at how many trophies (domestically and internationally) we have won. It will take them forever to be ever close to us.

To United fans it would seem liverpool and Manchester Chitty are the most hated. There are more recent rivalries like Arsenal and Chelsea, but these do not go abck as far.
What are Manchester United fans jelous of? Ever see a game at old Trafford? 70000 people supporting the club, thats amazing.

I wasn't gonna say anything, but someone had to go and bring up history again. Yes we harp on about our history...because, well, we've won considerably more than you. And as for a bright future, let's take a look at the last two years, and we'll include this season for a gauge of the future.
Liverpool - Champs League, FA Cup, and another in Athens thank you very much
Man U - Carling Cup, and a Premier League title on the way
I think I'll take a Champs League every two years and I can wait for the Premiership another season. Even Sir Alex is jealous of our European power!

Some do......man. city most times is not worth our dislike....worthless as they are....
I personally hate liverpool more......and oooo...another comment about man utd. fans not going to old trafford.....man u fans, pity this fool; its all he has *sigh*......
if no one supports man u why are there always 75,000 + ppl at old trafford FOR EVERY SINGLE MATCH!! but u know its quite easy to miss the small matter of 75000 ppl so i forgive your ignorance...
notice u didn't finish ur sentence......'liverpool' and 'great' should never be in the same sentence...but i see u realized and cut ur sentence short....well done.
oh and ur "kop atmosphere" was, if i remember correctly, quieter than a tomb last weekend when a ball went flying in to the roof of your net

yes, growing up in Manchester i can confirm this. there has always been a great divide between Liverpool and man u, probably as we see each other as competition, man city don't worry man u fans. The biggest game in English football is a Liverpool/man u game.

Defo. I mean its difficult for people to NOT feel hatred towards a club which they constantly want to catch up but forever feel deserted.I mean 18 leagues and 5 Euro Champs. Not to mention the atmosphere of The Kop.
But,Manc Scums, jealousy is never the best policy.

Man U don't really have anything wrong with City but what makes them sick is the fact that they are far bigger than City but city gives them headache.
Their rivalry with Liverpool is worse because they have won many trophies but still can't match Liverpool.
Thanx!

Actually we hate Leeds more than anyone. Goes back to the Wars of Roses, so there's 600 years of hatred there. Scousers didn't exist until the potato famine led to decent Lancashire and Irish folk coming together to form the best advert against gene manipulation in the form of Scousers.

yes of course, because they tink there better than us in there heads, but they can't get round the fact that we have won 5 european cups, 3 more than them, and 18 league titles again 3 more than them, we are the most succesfull team in britain, and they hate us for that, cos they want that title, but cant have it,
