I beleive the answer is on the Ebay itself. Normally the most listing items is the hottest one. For finding this one just need to go on Ebay home page and click on each category and when you got to the first page of that category, click on the "Show Items...". When the page loaded you will see on the top how many items have been listed in that category. By a fast view you can see Clothing and Shoes, Jewelry, Sport field and Computer $ Networking are very hot. But generally those stuffs are more profitable that are easy to ship and good for gift. If your question is regarding which merchendise is easy to sell, this returns to how cheap you can list it, how advertise it and how manage it to get more profit.

and the most sellable items on ebay are goft clubs and mobile phones 1 sell every 2 seconds
