Mollies like a pH of 7.5-8.5 and KH of 10-25, but ph and kh stability is more important than constant change in trying to force the water to change. No2 should be 0, No3 should be 40 or less. The more important thing to keep mollies happy and healthy is brackish water with a heavily planted, algae laden tank as algae is, or should be, a major food source.

No2 should be 0, No3 is best less then 50, and as close to 0 as possible (I settle for nothing more then 20). The GH, KH and PH should be whatever it is already - if you start messing around with it you will get instability, which is much more harmful to the fish then having these numbers a little too high or low. Plus they are very tolerant of a wide range of parameters.

Mollies need an aquarium with at least 15 gallons of water, an External Power Filter with a BIO-Wheel, 1/4 inch or less of gravel, and an Aquarium Heater adjusted to between 78 and 82 degrees F. Like most livebearers Mollies will do better with 1 Tablespoon of Aquarium Salt per 5 gallons of water.

Recommended Diet
Floating Flake Food and Freeze Dried Blood Worms. Both of these foods are available in most pet stores. I feed all livebearers a few Black Worms every other day.
