Don't forget about Heisman winner Chris Weinke, who has something like a 2-18 record as a starter in the NFL...and the 2nd game he won..he only threw 7 passes or something...Carolina just ran the ball every play agaisnt Atlanta this past season against them...and won

I think you have to look at Ryan Leaf and Charles Rogers as being the biggest busts. But you also have guys like Joey Harrington or David Carr, who were picked 3 and 1 respectively in the '03 draft, and are both looking at being possible backups. But a name very few people will bring up is Mike Vick. I like him, but his passing numbers are not good at all. He has completed only 53.6 percent of his passes throughout his career. He also got hurt for nearly the whole year in 2003. He came out of college with a lot of hype, but he's only produced one playoff performance, and a 38-31-1 record as a starter including 2 losses to the Lions in the past 3 years. People thought bringing in Jim Mora Jr. would help his production, but that didn't work, so it's Petrino's turn now. Overall, here are these five in descending order of draft busts.
1. Ryan Leaf
2. Charles Rogers
3. Joey Harrington
4. Michael Vick
5. David Carr

1. Ryan Leaf-biggest waste of a draft pick

2. Charles Rogers-I haven't heard him do anything in the past forever.

3. Alex Smith-Arguably the best QB in college when he was a senior. Came into the NFL looking for a starting job, didn't get it, he had a decent year this year though.

4. David Carr-He has done very little with the Texans. They made some noise this year but they haven't done anything.

5. Joey Harrington-He had a starting job in Detroit, not a very good team I might add, and didn't do anything. He got to play in Miami but was ineffective with the Dolphins offense.

Yes, the punk Ryan Leaf was the worst. When I was playing fantasy football I decided to choose Peyton Manning. My friends told me that Leaf was the better athlete. I told them he was immature and a punk.
Well we all know what happened, now don't we? Leaf got kicked off one team after another, and Manning ended up winning the Super Bowl. I can't believe all the idiots who thought that they could change Leaf's character. When a punk is that far gone it's hopeless.
