Well, Doctors give up a lot of their personal life and have to go school for a long time-if this is something you could do-it is both financially and emotionally rewarding. You are helping your fellow man and the pay is good. There are many long hours and call (when you could be woken up in the middle of the night and asked questions regarding your patients), making rounds, attending conferences for continuing education, giving talks, performing procedures, dictating charts,etc). I suggest becoming a Radiologist (someone who interprets x-rays) because they make a lot of money but they also have a lot of responsibility in that they are primarily responsible for diagnosing illness based on x-rays.

Medical field is for certain individuals. if you are into helping people and have a strong personality. One that won't be bothered by seeing pain and suffering everday then it is a great field. I tried but did not succeed. I like to help but don't like to see the pain.

Very much a personal choice. try volunteering in hosp to see what it could be like. There are dozens of careers in medical and while you may not like one, you may love anther.

Yes. It pays well besides you're saving lives. However, you need to be awared that you'll need to work or on standby 24/7.
