Ooooo, went and saw it today. And honestly, it was on my anniversary so I was really opinionated against it. But I loved it. Im not generally the type for bloody movies but this was great and totally a must see in theaters film. So movies can be seen at home for just as much fun, but some things need to be in amazingly loud surround sound.
But I was a little distracted by the villian, and leader of the Persians, who looked like a bald Julia Roberts. Did anyone else recognize the feminine similarities?

It was Silly movie and Unlogical after the First 30 mins you will change ur side and u will like that Persian Soldiers win the battle How it is possible that 300 stand infront of 1 million ? :S
Special Effect at the First is amazing but after some minutes we u realise that its Not Computer Graphic and the sence are Reals u will be annoyed becasue the Director Tried to Cheat u by adding just some Effect to movie to make simillar 3d animations

Definitely not a chick flick! If you like violent movies, it's perfect. There is not much else to it, really. It is historically inaccurate by a mile, so it really shouldn't appeal to the history crowd. It is pretty obvious that it is a revisionist history designed to appeal to a conservative warhawk crowd. If you fall into the crowd, though, then great! If you like stylized fighting... and little else, it's a home run. Otherwise, pass.

i saw it at midnight last night on Imax it was awesome definitely go see this movie but it does have a lot of battle scenes so you have to like that but this movie is one of my new favorites and i might go see it again today thats how good it was

i've seen it the other day. it was a really good movie. wished we had it in IMAX here too. our IMAX here sucks, it isn't updated with their movies...
