Actually it sounds as if you have distanced yourself from him already. He's the "father of your child" not "your husband, or boy friend". Forgive me for reading into your words, it's a terrible character flaw, but, I'm very rarely wrong. I probably should have searched a few more of your questions to see if I could get a handle on just how he hurt you but it's probably cheating. Seems that's all I see on here lately. So how do you get past this step? Well, you've come up with half the answer yourself already. "How do I tell"! That's not communication yet, but the start of it! Communication is complete when you ask, then wait, and listen to the reply. You've already diagnosed his answer as not being worthy, or you wouldn't be preparing for the "resentment" stage. Just take it one step at a time. 1st is confrontation, 2nd is communication, 3rd is beat his buns! lol just kidding, 3rd is justice. Your the judge sweety! Court is in session!

Be direct and to the point.
How to deal with the resentment? Focus on your child and putting your energy into being a good mommy. Turn the negative into a positive.
