It may make them less visable, but only surgery will take them away.

Hi,

unfortunately, no. After stretch marks have formed the only real option is cosmetic surgery. If you're still pregnant however, there are some creams that will help you avoid further damage. Although I must add that there is a slim chance that any of them work on large stretch marks. I didn't put any weight on during either of my pregnancies but my during my first pregnancy I held an enormous amount of amniotic fluid which made me as big as a house and gave me loads of them.

Good luck

Yes, silicone-based scar cream will help reduce stretch marks. It won't make them disappear though! It just helps blend them into the surrounding skin. If the scar cream is not silicone-based however it will do nothing, to my knowledge silicone is the only ingredient that's been shown to help scars. Vitamin E in studies either does nothing or actually worsens scarring of new wounds... You also have to use it very consistently for a long time for it to do anything.

You can always get rid of the stretch marks, they're not permanent. Theirs a lot of medicines and creams to get rid of scars like that. The easiest one I know is, Coco butter. Rub it on your stretch marks daily and they should be less visible. Good enough for the make up artist to just air brush them when you go for photo shoots etc.
