Because it's all about money now. Nobody is doing it for the love of hip hop. All the culture is gone that's why you have garbage like pop,lock,and drop it and chicken noodle soup.

I am an avid fan of hip-hop. I take great offense to the assholes who say it has always sucked. I don't like country music, but I won't say it sucks just because I'm not a fan. If it's not your kind of music, just say that, don't downtalk the whole genre like you know what you're talking about. The quality of hip-hop has been greatly reduced because there are a lot of artists who are only in it for the money and fame. There are plenty of artists that are true to the music, but that's because they aren't pimped by the big record companies. Artists these days don't know how to MC, write a song, or perform a good show. They don't give any thought to the social issues that affect the hip-hop community. Nope, all they need is a song about being a druglord, mention something about what kind of car he drives on 24's, how much *** he gets, and throw in a dance that people can do in the clubs that involves snapping your fingers, leaning, or some other bullshit, and you've got a hit. Yessir, that's what hip-hop is about now.

Rerecord companies know whats making money. That means anybody and everybody that that has that "sound" will get signed. If you're not like the rest u won't get signed. Sad but true. If u are signed but don't have that "sound" chances are your video and song won't get any air play. Thats for all genres.

Well its your opinion if rap music sucks. Dont suddenly suggest that all people think rap music sucks because i happen to find rap music fun to listen to and i would defidently perfer to listen to rap music over rock music anytime!
