Do men deserve what is happening to them nowadays?

I believe that men are being more controlled by women each day because of how they're raised.

In the average boys home in America, they live in an environment where they're raised by their moms only, or in a household where the mother is more dominant over the father.

This is causing men to gain more wussy programming.

They're being told to be nice, which causes a boy to grow up, suck up to women, and be controlled.

They're being told to do their best, which causes a boy to grow up to just do their best, whether they win or lose, which is very wussy behavior. (I mean, if you're going to do something, do it for the challenge, to become better, and do it to WIN.

Don't listen to what Mommy tells you to do. She just tries to raise you to become the man she WISHED she HAD.

Women aren't attracted to nice guys, that suck up to them, and buy them gifts and dinners.

Men should stand up for themselves, and especially FATHERS. Shame on your fathers out there being controlled!

In a way, yeah, I think they do deserve it. Like you said, men should stand up for themselves. Anyone that doesn't stand up for his or her self is contributing to the problem. And men who are absentee fathers, whether they are in the home or not, are just adding more fuel to the fire.

This doesn't mean that boys shouldn't listen to their moms. Sure some women make pansies out of their sons but some moms do a better job of raising a boy into a man than some fathers do.

yes they deserve it. Karma comes back around.

and yeah, women do like guys who buy them stuff, but thats not all they like. they like ones who are honest, don't get upset over losing a stupid game, who don't cheat, because they're parents taught them right.

and there are households where kids are raised by just a father, no mother.
and ones where the father is in charge and not the mother.
