For the ladies who buy lovely, delicate, silky lingerie - do you wash your lingerie before you wear it?

I usually wash mine by hand to soften it up. I wear a lotr aof garter belts and bras, and they are much more soft ans comfortable whem they are washed first. Actually the same is true for good nylons too. they are softer and les likely to run when washed first. It takes out the excess dye and cutting dust, left by the manufacturer.

Oh yeah. You never know who has tried it on before you and if they were wearing anything with it. Gross. Always better to be safe

Definitely.....not only could someone have tried it on, but may have taken it home and worn it then returned it to the store!
