Like I really do want to buy Fable 2 right when it comes out but obviously its only coming out for a while but i want to know how long before it comes out can i go reserve it.............so the maine question is: how long before a game comes out can you reserve it from GAMESTOP??

Typically once it is in their system and showing on their website you can reserve it. Since Fable 2 isn't on their site yet, I don't think it can be preordered. Meanwhile Halo 3 can already be preordered. Just depends.

depends on the game, i reserved pokemon pearl in december and it comes out in april...there are several factors, like if the release date gets pushed back (zelda, final fantasy), if it's for a new system (mario galaxy), or if the game studio has to get some bugs out...to start, goto gamestop.com and use the store locator to find the phone number for your local store and just keep bugging them...oh and usually five bucks deposit will reserve a game, and if you change your mind you can convert that to store credit

I would wait until there is an official announcement of when the release date is going to be..and then go and reserve your copy.
