Now their is strong speculation that Indiana Jones 4 will have a new love interest, played by Calista Flockhart (???)

Plus, they are going to give him a teenaged son.
This is in anticipation of a new series, starring his son.

Why does Hollywood take a great thing, and mess it up?

Calista Flockhart? Ally McBeal is Mrs. Jones?

Uggh.

If Speilberg directs it, then no.

Well I guess if Sean Connery at 60+ could run around in Indy 3, then Harrison Ford can do it at 60+ in Indy 4. They will need to come up with something to continue the franchise, it has made a ton of money.

Calista is a very poor choice. There has got to be a hotter chick available then she.

I never saw the any of the Indy movies, and I don't plan to see this one, but I think the filmmakers realize it's a beloved franchise, and will take every precaution to not ruin it. However, there's just something about aging actors trying to revive a popular movie character. Like Arnold in the 3rd Terminator (and a rumored 4th), Stallone in "Rocky Balboa", and Bruce Willis in the upcoming new "Die Hard" movie, does anyone still wanna watch these dudes play tough guys?

Shia LaBeouf is slated to play the son too. I don't have personally anything against the guy, but I can't see him past his Nickelodean days. He's also in Transformers, which makes me wish hard that he's good and has range. Also, I hope they keep the organic feel of the original Indy movies and not make too many CG crap on top of it. Spielberg keeps in grounded, but Lucas tends to get carried away.

whats the last movie George Lucas was associated with that wasn't a pile of crap?. and Spielberg wasn't up to par on war of the worlds either so Indiana 4 might be in big trouble.
