I hate to say it, being a South Carolina fan, but TW appeared on more milk cartons ("Have you seen me lately?") than highlight reels and I just don't think he has the smarts to me a receiver in this league. He sat through the first half of his rookie season and played sparingly the second...that gave me the impression he couldn't pick up the blocking assignments, the most challenging thing for most rookie receivers...then he has just found a way to disappear out there. With no QB and no receivers, the Vikes have a lot to worry about. At least they get Chad Greenway back...

I think he can be considered a bust with the amount of money being thrown at him. If he wasn't a lottery pick it would be too early but since he was a lottery pick I would say that so far he has been a bust. He has talent though he just needs a good QB to throw him the deep ball to make use of his great speed.

wow, i cant believe this is even debatable. the guy had more drops than he did catches. he couldn't catch a beach ball. my brother is the most die hard vikings fan i have ever met, and he will tell you that this kid is terrible. i wouldn't consider him a bust, because he didn't deserve to go in the first round anyway. they could have easily got him with their second first round pick (they had 2 that year), and probably could have got him with their second round pick.
mark my words, he won't ever step foot onto the field again. pretty hard to have a breakout year on the bench or flipping burgers somewhere. minnesota is in trouble at WR and they arent doing anything about it. they need 4 or 5 as they have nothing at that position. they signed bobby wade! haha. every other team is signing people, and the vikings are sitting there doing nothing, expecting to be good with the worst offensive roster in the league. i feel bad for you vike fans.

i don't think so, the vikings had ineffective QB play for most of the season which caused williamson's numbers to drop significantly, plus the fact that he is a deep threat and the vikings may throw downfield less than any team in football...he will need to adjust to the west coast offense to have any chance to succeed, and learn to run those short and intermediate patterns effectively...also, holding onto the ball more would help

Traditional wisdom is that a WR's breakout year is his 3rd. If he doesn't have at least 800-900 yards and 5 TDs next year, he will definitely be a bust

Maybe not a bust but definitely not the superstar they wanted. He did have a new system and adjusting to 2 QBs but still he did not perform as a high draft pick should.
