I know it is a little early, but the company I work for is trying to figure out a theme for this years Christmas Party we are hosting. Any suggestions are welcome!

I would like a quote or something like that we could go off of. We are also doing a charity with the party before hand.

Here are some theme ideas -
- Traditional Christmas - Attatch sprigs of holly and mistletoe on stairways, railings and in doorways. Christmas lights can be hung to add brightness and warmth. Hang wreaths on doors and walls. For a sweet wreath, tie a variety of hard candies (in their wrappers) to a ready-made wreath. Attach a pair of scissors with long string and when guests pass by, they can snip off a sweet if they want.
- Fiesta themed party. Bright, happy colors mixed with red and green. What about green cactus and red sombreros mixed with traditioanl Christmas lights strung around the room. Hang fiesta balloons and sombrero piñatas. Trim tables in shimmering metallic red and green table skirts. Serve drinks in neon red and green margarita glasses. Throw some holly leaves and intersperse snowmen votives on tables. Use bright red bandanas for your napkins, wrapped in twists of red, green and white beads as napkin rings. At each place setting, place a bright sombrero.
- Elegant yet fun - Centerpieces of sleighs filled with colorful mini-Christmas ornaments. Tie off red and green balloons or add gold balloons for elegance. Instead of ribbon, use tulle. Napkins could be wrapped around candy canes, and secured using curling ribbon in your theme color. At each place, put a lump of chocolate to imply coal or a flavored coffee spoon.
- Snow Ball - A more formal event. Decorate with snowflakes from the ceiling, glittered and twisting. Glittery tablecloths and add translucent snow confetti scattered on the tables . Drap white Christmas lights everywhere.
- Let it snow - This works especially well if you have a mixture of guests and you don't want to offend anyone with being specifically one holiday or another. Use Frosty or just snowflakes. Snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, snowflake confetti, snowflake candles--the works.
- Oh! Christmas Tree - Idea for a fundraiser. Have local florists and artists (or even school children) decorate small trees for the event and then auction them off. You make money, and have great fun at the same time.

Here are some fun games you could play -
* Tape the nose on santa - Try to tape the nose on Santa while blindfolded
* Gift wrap race - A game where you and your partner race to wrap a package first, but you can only use one hand each
* Name that tune - a few seconds of a Christmas sondg or carol are played and you try to guess it.
* Christmas Idol - a singing contest just like American Idol but with Christmas carols
* Celebrities - three people are chosen and sit fcing the audience. The name of a celebrity, famous person or character is written on a piece of paper then stuck to their forehead. The objective is to work out who you are by taking turns to ask the party questions about who they are - answers can be YES or NO only. If you get a YES you may continue asking, if you get a NO play moves on.
* Prize auction - Auction off fun prizes to the highest bidder. (A possible fundraiser?).
