If that were my daughter, I would sit her down and talk to her. I'd want to know;
1. Who took the pictures
2. Why did she have them taken
3. Who was intended to see them.

I'm sure the 13 year old will say "it's not a big deal." but it really is a pretty big deal. She'll probably be embarrased that her mom found them.

*Also, if the 13 year old has access to a digital camera, then I would suggest that it be limited.

Oh my! I would find out who took those pictures! I would also speak with the 13 year old CHILD ask her what was the deal with the pictures! Depending on what I find I would more than likely turn the person who took the pics to the cops! I will be praying that nothing bad(other than the pictures) has happened your niece!
Good Luck and God Bless

find out who took the pictures... then sit her down and talk about how it is wrong for a 13 year old to pose in her underwear.

Wow, I am male but I remember doing the same thing as a kid but I did not want anyone else to see them so I tore them up. Yes you must tell the parents they should be the one to deal with this, it will embarrass her but they have to know why she did this and who took them, if it was someone older they should be turned in if it was a friend their parents should know as well.
In addition, you must find out why. Like I said I did the same thing, I took them myself just to see how I looked, I think it was a low self-esteem issue with me.
But now in days their are to many kids putting their pictures on line for numerous resins
So today, this could be very serious, or just her comparing herself to models, either way it is best not to go to her about it at all but let the parents know.
I will pry for her.

Talk to her daughter, find out who took the pictures and if she posed willingly. If she didnt do it willingly, she has to call the cops, thats a form of child pornography. If she did, it's time for your sister to have "the talk' with your niece.

i think of you may initiate by using chatting along with her and telling her to take the image down. permit her be responsive to how beside the point and dehumanizing it somewhat is and unsafe too. tell her you care approximately her and don't prefer to ensure her occurring a foul street from which she will possibly not be waiting to return. If she refuses, tell her which you will could desire to rfile this habit to her mom if she does not take it down voluntarily. and then do it, no remember how mad she gets. Her secure practices is greater important than her ire and her mothers and fathers should not be letting her use the internet unsupervised. yet initiate by using coming from a private place, and don't develop telling every physique until it somewhat is the final hotel. you're an excellent and being concerned pal. good success.

Find out who took those pics! Tell the girls parents! Talk to the girl. Is she having sex? This needs to be brought up. Tell your parents perhaps they will talk to the girls parent. Find out where that pic went to. Did she scan it to put on her myspace? The kids today are too wild...they have no clue how many pervs are out there. I'm afraid for her safety & virtue. That is just sick...too young...my own daughters age. I will ask her if it is her!???

Try not to make a big deal, but tell an adult who is responsible for the child. Don't make it like tattling . . . but you must be concerned for her life's direction of she is 13 and saving semi-nedu fotos.

Keep in mind, it's possible she took these for someone who has bad intentions.
