I'd quit wearing it because the skin around the eyes is so delicate. You can "suddenly" become allergic to something. Old makeup can irritate your skin too.
If you think it's only 1 product causing the problem but aren't sure which one, then wear 1 product a day and go through the process of elimination.
www.cosmetics.com has information about allergies and makeup ingredients. Check it out.
www.makeupalley.com is dedicated to product reviews if you need to change everything.
Hope this helps.

When you say eye make up are you referring to mascara or eye liner? Well if it's mascara; once the tube is opened and used it has to be replaced every 3 months and if it's eye pencil make sure the pencil top is clean.
Are you doing this? Also the winter air if you reside in the USA can dry out skin. Make sure your skin is moisturized before putting on the make up. And as always make sure you do not share eye cosmetics with any one.
Hope that Helps

Always remove your eye makeup, mascara and any other stuff you use around your eyes with make-up remover. Buy a good kind because its your eyes you are concerned about. Yes, most definitely give your eyes a break by not wearing eye makeup for few days. And replace make up every 2 months. Refrigerate your make up that helps too. Also, check your facial cleansers, moisturisers -if they are old toss them out and go out and get a new one.

Try changing your eye makeup for a few days and see if the itchiness subsides. If it does, in a couple days wear the suspicious eye makeup again and see if you become irritated again. I wore Merle Norman for 5-6 years without any problems and then one day I started having really bad breakouts on my chin. I tried the above experiment and to much dismay found out it was my makeup causing the irritation. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Do you remember that you have to throw out your mascara after a certain time frame? Alot of people do but most don't remember that law. It could be that suddenly your eyes are sensitive to that mascara. That has happened to me. I cannot use Maybelline I got crazy there is something in that stuff I swear. Anyways good luck.

I would return it where you purchased it and tell them you need to exchange it and explain why. Even if you bought it in a department store. You might have received a product that was old. Stores usually pull cosmetic products that have been on the shelves too long and return them to the manufacture but sometimes they don't always catch everything. Hope that helps.

Maybe the product itself is old and bacteria has set in. Mascara has a life of only six weeks once opened. Eyeshadows and eyeliners should only be used for about six months.

Its probably just irritating you because the dry winter air is drying your skin out. Use a moistruizer and see if it helps.
