When eating at a buffet who here has ever put extra food in your pockets or purse?I know I have mainly cookies,one time I put abunch of popcorn shrimp and fried chicken in my purse.So who else has done this too?Don't be shy!

Yes. I have definately. I get the cookies and the chips to nibble on later. I definately get MY money's worth.

I have done it a few times. Taken Home Meat for my Dogs in a bag. Most of these Buffets have loads of Food that just goes to waste , It just lies there and eventually gets thrown out. Eventually People Stop Eating and are to busy Drinking and then Dancing and there is Piles of Food on the Buffet Tables, some of it ends up on the Dancefloor with a few People tripping up on it. Some People are Laughing and Giggling and are half Drunk and start stuffing food into there Faces and it falls on the Floor creating a mess. Every body goes home very Happy. Dogs love Chicken and if I can get a Plastic bag i usually bring a Pile Home for it.

I never have personally but growing up... As a kid I remember my mom always taking fried chicken home with her in her purse!!!! The worst part was... she would make me or my brother go up to the buffet to get it for her! And she instructed us to look for the breast piece too! And then she would wrap it in a bunch of napkins and stick it in her purse... usually only a piece or two. Eww!! And it was SO embarrassing.... Ha!

Ok i haven't done it for me to eat later but there was this steak buffet and i hit a couple times. I am not a steak person but i took it home to my dogs for treats later. I had enough to last a couple days.

How did your purse not get all greasy from the shrimp and chicken? Was this planned in advance and you had plastic bags with you? This puts funny pictures in my head!

when my mom, my son, & myself go, she always takes cookies for my son to eat later.
I used to work at a buffet and I had many people ask me for to go boxes to take their leftovers home. It was funny.

Nope but i have a friend who steals silverware, and plates from restaurants in her purse or jacket.

Ive taken food home to my animals, but also, being broke and not having anything for my kids, i have taken treats like cookies and stuff, put them in napkins and stuffed them in my pocket. may seem stupid to some, but when your kids light up because you brought them a cookie..its well worth it.!!
