Anyone else having technical problems?

Yesterday I couldn't get a buy order to process for over an hour - today I logged in and my portfolio is empty, no money, no stocks!!!

No response from CNBC support for three days now, I keep getting the same automated response over and over.....

I had the same problem. I was unable to make trades on Thurs and Friday and my portfolio was deleted on Friday. It came back on Sat, but damage was done...went down from over 10% to 5% because of inability to adjust trades. Complaints were only answered by auto reply with no substantive explanation. I understand that the problem is widespread. I don't think CNBC has decided whether to publicly admit that their game has been screwed by technical problems. I don't know how they can even make a weekly award. Their rules do not require them to be responsible for their own technical errors and it appears that they will just ignore it and pretend everything is going smoothly. Any award for last week is a fraud.

You can't win a million dollars at http://www.top10traders.com - but the site is free, and your trade will go through. The site lets you create a portfolio of stocks with $100,000 in "play" money. Each day the site ranks the best performing portfolios, so you can see how your picks perform compared to other investors. You can read posts on investing from the best traders, as well as share your own investing ideas. There is a charting feature, so you can see how your portfolio performs compared to the S&P 500. Also, you can create your own "group" so that you can see how you are doing compared to your friends.

Here are this month's best traders:

Hope this helps.

They tell you to read the rules but never clearly explain how it works. Here's the deal:

Buys and sells are only executed at the end of the day, at that day's closing price. Intraday trades mean nothing. If you want to own GOOG from Thursday's open to Thursday's close, and then sell it before Friday's open, you have to put your buy order in before 3pm EST on Wednesday, and your sell order in before 3 on Thursday.

You would think the "leader" in business and financial news would be able to track stock prices and orders a little better. But if it wasn't gambling enough, add in the fact that you only get buys and sells on the close of the following day and the game is a total crap shoot.

Yeah, I've been having problems. The one you had and sometimes have trouble loading the page...probably due to all the traffic. You may want to check and see if your browser is accepting cookies. That seemed to fix my disappearing portfolio....for now. Good luck! I hope to see you in the finals.

They're simulating the taxes you'd pay under a Democratic controlled congress.

Yes, it totally sucks. It took me weeks to sign up because of glitches as well. I don't know who they have setting up the platform this year, but it's horrible.

Problems with the video question too!

Hopefully your issues will be resolved soon!
