It sounds as if you are having a vaginal discharge. If it has any odor to it, you may have an infection...see a doctor. Discharge is normal. You can wear a pantyliner if necessary. All women have vaginal discharge, especially during ovulation (10-14 days after you start your period).

Your body produces fluids throughout the month, according to your menstrual cycle. The first day of your period is Day 1. For a week or so you pass the blood that accumulated in your uterus (or womb) to nurture a baby in case you became pregnant. Usually there is a time of dryness for a week or so after the bleeding stops. As your body prepares to ovulate (when an egg is released by your ovaries), you begin to pass cervical fluids. They can be white or slightly yellow. As ovulation nears (or shortly after it occurs ) the fluid changes from being lotiony or milky to seeming more like egg whites. The fluid can be quite stretchy, and you may need a panty liner during this time. This fluid is designed to help sperm survive their journey from the vagina to the uterus and swim more effectively. Ovulation generally occurs mid-cycle, which for many women is about 14 days after the start of your period. This is not the exact date for most women. After a few days of "egg white" (sometimes called "spin"), you may notice that the fluids turn a bit thicker or stickier. After that, you may notice another time of "dryness" before your period starts.

Some women use this information to help them make family planning decisions. However, even if you are not sexually active or if you use other birth control methods, it's important to understand how your body works and the changes that it goes through each month.

Hope this answers your question fully. I'm glad you're asking questions. It's important to understand how our bodies work.
