Ha. Maybe she needs a new style or new shampoo and conditioner. She should try getting some layers if she doesnt have them already. An anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner and they also have product and maybe she should do stuff with her hair like braid it or put moose and gel in it and defuse it to make it curly, she should get a straightner and straighten it. Maybe you should go over her house and help her out. Tell her you're gonna do her hair and stuff. Take some suggestions from sites or here and make her over. In the winter hair isnt so lovely because it usually gets staticy.

Does she like it. Is it her way of being different. Has she complained to you with the way it looks. Or are you trying to protect her from what other people are saying. If so try giving her a hair dresser gift certificate and tell her it might me a good time for a change. Why don't you go with her and have your hair done at the same time so she thinks it is a girl day's out and not a "i hate your hair day"

I had a perm and tried everything to get it to relax so I could curl it. Then I decided to go with it until it relaxes on its own. Spray hair with water and then use mousse. Also put 3 minute miracle on it wet and leave it in for an hour or so. Then rinse out. Dyeing also increases the hair shaft and they have great conditioners with them.

Some people are just born with frizzy hair. Like me.
Use a paddle brush and blow dry use a defrizz serum then use a straightner.

Thats just the way her hair is. It is normal. What isn't normal is adding chemicals, blowdrying it, straightning it with an iron etc....
What society tells you how someone should look sometimes goes against what is natural.
She is comfortable with her appearance, if it doesn't bother her accept it. Don't put any pressure on her and let her be her.

by ur friend, do u mean you? which ever 1 of u has frizzy hair i would suggest you get a anti-frizz serum or straighten your hair...straightening irons always take the frizz away...i have curly hair and it sometimes gets frizzy 2..but i dont straighten my hair often..so i just prefer the serum. good luck

I also have fizzy hair, I started using Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. They sell it in all Walmarts and many drug stores. I use 2 different ones. One is the blue bottles. And I also use the green and pink bottle together. I love it and will not use anything else.

She needs some mousse.
When her hair is damp from getting out of the shower apply a handful of mousse and run it through her hair.
