I am not being a racist or anything. Afrifcan-americans really hate asians, but we didn't do anything to them. We didn't enslave africans like whites did. We are minorities in America like they are. Why do they think we are enemies and commit hate crimes against us? I really want to hear from black people. Tell me one good reason why you hate us, then i will shut up.

Are you Asian?
Not all black people dislike Asians...I'm perfectly fine with everybody :-)
Some people just have a lot of anger...I would say hate is a strong word and I don't really believe you can truly hate something you can't understand. I think some black people are angry because they feel as if they struggle everyday...and they feel that asians, as another minority, do not receive the same discrimination as blacks do. This is completely backwards thinking, because Asians DO in fact get discriminated against everyday! Do not let the actions of a handful of black people ruin your view of an entire race. There a great people out there, like me, who have nothing against anybody else...if we do, it's because we have a problem with the individual and NOT the race.

The ones that generally attack asians (at least in my neck of the woods, richmond, ca) probably don't get online much, and lately they've been going after not only asians, but latin immigrants who are new here. The reason is, they don't have bank accounts and carry a lot of cash around. I'm a Christian, so most of my fellow christian blacks don't hate Asians at all. The impression I get from the ones who do hate asians are: 1. They hate everyone including any blacks who they think are in their way, 2. They resent the stereotypical successful asians, asians who do well in school, business, etc. and 3. They feel looked down upon by Asians.
I had the chance of a lifetime to go to grammar school in Asia (or a pacific island anyway but I had lots of asian classmates) so I never really got into the anti-asian mentality.

Um....I definitely don't hate asians and I'm black, though I don't consider myself "african" american so maybe I don't apply. I've honestly never heard of black on asian crimes, but whatever blacks that hate asians and do those things do it for the same exact reasons other races do it. It's stupidity and ignorance. Please just don't lump all blacks, or "african americans", together and think we all hate asians because that in itself is ignorance.

There are violent idiots in every group who become criminals. I can't believe there are people who only commit crimes against one specific group.
And the majority of whites in this country DO NOT come from ancestors who were slave owners.

Ask yourself this question: Why do people commit crimes against one another, in general? It's not about race. There are many reasons why people commit crimes.
