My first name is Tahira, which means Pure in Arabic. My father named me after Tahirih who was a Martyr for the Bahai faith (http://www.tahirih.org/tahirih/about/tahirih.html) I actually spelled it this way until I was 10 years old. It was discovered that my Mom misspelled it on the birth certificate, so I had start spelling it the legal way. I've always loved having such a unique name.
My middle name is too unique. It's Sundew.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sundew. I hate it so much,

My name is Lucy. I was named after my great grandmother. Nobody else around my age group in school had the same name as me. The only other Lucy's I knew were onlder ladies or really little girls. It's an old name which is just coming back into fashion.
The only problem I have with my name is when people I don't know/like shorten it to 'Luce'. It's been used in an offensive way in my high school years, so sometimes to hear someone I'm not friends with saying it can be a bit of a bite.

My name is Emily. Its okay but sometimes I wish I had a more unique name but I am fine with it I will not change it because nothing else sounds good with the middle name Louise! LOL!
But I am going to name my kid a more unique name. NEVER let anyone tell you you have a bad name, it does not matter because you have the BEST name in the world!

My name is Holly Lynn, I've always liked my first name, used to hate the middle name, cuz it seemed like EVERYONE had the middle name Lynn, but I found out I was named after the town my grandmother was born in, Lynn, Massachusetts, so I'm okay with it now.

I dont like my birth name, Kristy-Lynne. It is to girly for me, but I have been called Krick since I was about a year old. I love it, it is very unique, or is around here. The only problem is people always question it when i tell them, If they ask for my name, and I tell them, they ask for my first name. They always think its my last name. But I like it anyways.

My name is Dawn. I like it very much, mostly because I was named 25 years or so before it became really popular in the 70's. When people hear it, they usually think I am younger than I really am.

I hate my name. It's a boy's name. I was supposed to be a boy, but surprise... another girl !! I was named after my dad.. Billie Jo... If my sis had been the boy my name would have been Adrianne Louise which I do love and wished they named me that instead !! I grew up being called BillyGoat !!

Yes, my first and last names flow really well together. My middle name (Marie) is one of the most common middle names going, but I know it was after my maternal grandmother and not just a "filler" name.
