I'm very unhappy with my body. I hate the way the sides of my stomach look. They are really wide. I would like them to be smaller. I measure 29" under my breast, but around my stomach I measure 35". I hate how I look. I would like to get rid of the fat. What ist the best thing to do other that surgery.

I tend to be wide on the sides, my stomach is actually almost flat!

Cardio workouts, watching your calories and eating healthy.

Seriously. It's the ONLY thing that has worked for me with stubborn fat.

Do cardio workouts (walking, jogging, machines at the gym) for 30 minutes 3-4 times per week.

Also, really monitor your calories intake. Google "calorie calculator" and you will find many Web sites that will tell you how many calories you should eat per day t o lose a healthy 1-2 pounds per week. Look at food labels. Seemingly healthy foods like crackers can be loaded with calories.

Eat every four hours to keep your metabolism up. Snack on things like fruits and veggies, and those 100-calorie packs (they're very tasty!).

After about two weeks, you should see and feel a difference. If you hit a slump, up the cardio workout time or frequency.

Also, you might want to try Pilates. You mentioned your tummy is flat, but Pilates focuses on all your stomach muscles, so it will help with your sides.

Good luck! Hope this helps!

I don't think there's much you can do. I hate my body too but for different reasons. I don't have any difference in my measurements under my breasts, stomach or waist really. So I have no curves!! I hate it. I guess it's just the way your body decided to store its fat. You could do oblique exercises such as start out laying on your side and then push up onto your forearm so that all of your weight is on the forearm. Only the end of the foot on the ground and the forearm touch the ground. Hold this for 2 minutes and then do the other side. This makes your obliques tighter if you do it everyday but I don't think it can really make you less wide if that's how your body is layed out. I think if you have lots of fat that sits there then just plain old cardio would burn fat off everywhere on your body including there. Good luck. Learn to love your body. I know it's hard. I'm sure you look fine!!! Smile and have a good day.
