is it the side that loses every game, or the side that comes bottom of the group, given the wooden spoon?

The side who finishes bottom of the table, obviously this may be the team who loses all their games, and again any team who loses all their games must get the wooden spoon.

Of course there actually is no wooden spoon it is just a symbolic "trophy"

The side at the end of the tournament with the least points gets the "wooden spoon" just a figure of speech.

The team that comes bottom "wins" the wooden spoon. If that team has lost all five matches, it is called a "Whitewash".

Conversely, the Triple Crown is awarded to that Home Nation (Wales, Scotland, Ireland, England) who beats each of the other three. A "Grand Slam" occurs when the champions win all five matches.

A team could win the Triple Crown, but not be Champions.

after all the games have been played and the final have also been played....
the side that have the lowest score on the table...... Gets the wooden Spoon.
