I'm not naive nor 15...haha...I'm actually 30 and married. BUT, I have a silly question. The other day my husband and I were having sex, and he 'came' on the outside of me, and maybe 1 inch in. We are not necessarily trying to get pregnant. How likely is it that sperm can travel the length they need to get to my egg? I know pregnancy is possible any time sperm gets to an egg, but was more curious about the likelihood. I know the deep thrusting when ejaculating helps with the 'cause'. Haha...silly but just curious about your opinions/experiences. Also....it was at a time that I'm ovulating...

Actually it is more possible than one would think. Yes, it is better if you are trying to be in as far as possible but if he ejaculated at the opening of your vagina you can get pregnant. Especially if it was your ovulation time and cervical mucus was present. All it would need to so is come into contact with the mucus and travel right on up. Now if he ejaculated outside of you, it is possible but less likely. Good Luck!!

Well in reality the sperm travels as fast as the thrust. the male specimens or the male eggs travel the fastest but they dont live as long in the woom. whereas a female specimen egg travels the fastest because it is like a race to see who can get to the hole the first to fertile the egg!

There is still a good chance that you may be pregnant. For instance, even if you have anal intercourse, if he ejaculates and it drips down into your vagina, there is a possibility of becoming pregnant. So I'd say your chances are pretty good! Good luck and best wishes!!

I have a friend who actually got pregnant w/o penetration. She and her boyfriend were messing around w/o clothes and he came near her vagina and it must have gotten in and did its thing. It's not very common, but it can happen.
