I'd say a whole lot.

Especially depending on if they like or don't like their jobs.
If you like your job, I'm figuring your demeanor will be of a more cheerful and hopeful way. If you don't, just the opposite.

Also, someone's job has a great impact on how they talk, dress, and carry themselves. They want to reflect their career in the best way possible. Makes for more opportunities!

If they hate their job--or their boss--or the work they're doing--they are not going to be very happy campers.
They are likely to take this out on family and friends.

If they love their job, employer, work--it should shine through in their life outside of work, and make them happier in general.

If they are working hours that don't agree with them--this can put a strain on them--and possibly their loved-ones.

Some people like to work with co-workers and customers--other people would rather be working on their own. When applying for jobs, they should not just settle for the first one that calls--if it's not their type of job.

People who are unhappy with their present occupation should really have their resume down with Jobs.com, Career Builders, and Monster.com. They should also be registered with temporary agencies, and permanent employment agencies. They should be checking their Sunday newspaper each week, to see what types of jobs are advertised.

No one should need to work, for years, in an occupation that they are unhappy about. There is always a way out--to a job more suited to them--if they'll take the time to keep watch and send resumes.

A great deal of impact. It goes both ways, a person who is bossy by nature would seek out and be attracted to a job where they get to push other people around. Grade school teachers get into the habit of talking to other adults as it they were kids! I knew people who would say "Where's your coat?" or "Watch out with that, don't play with it" to me, as if I was a kid.

It is the habits we get into, the way we behave in our jobs can easily carryover into non-work life.
