There is a Nair for men, which is supposed to be gentle. I haven't used it yet, but HAVE shaved, and almost hit a blood vessel!

Kind of makes you wonder if it is all worth it for your woman...(or partner)

And to heck with the waxing/woman's electric shaver thing.

Wax = RIPS the hair out!
Shaver = Less control than a razor!

The best that I have found is to do this. First, take a hot shower. Using an anti-bacterial soap liberally on the areas to be shaved. After drying off, pre-shave the areas using a beard and mustache trimmer to remove as much of the unwanted hair as possible to avoid unnecessary re-shaving! Next, use some Gillette Tough Beard shaving gel. Apply liberally to the aforementioned areas. Follow this up using a disposable Gillette Mach # shaving razor. Use LIGHT pressure on those areas that are VERY DELICATE! If you happen to nick yourself in a delicate area, DON'T PANIC!! Grab some bathroom tissue, apply light pressure and wait. Once you've stopped bleeding, apply a small amount of Neosporin to the nicked area and a small circular bandage(preferably the fabric type, not the plastic ones!) on the area in question. You CAN finish shaving BEFORE applying the bandage and whatnot if you wish. DO NOT USE AFTER-SHAVE! Use a good talcum powder after-wards(Gold Bond works very nicely!) to ward off unwanted moisture. Please wear clean underwear too! DO NOT re-use the shaving razor for your face!

Don't listen to those other people I'm a 38 year old guy and my wife shaves herself and so do i..it makes sex feel alot better. And it doesn't grow as fast as the hair on your face..I do it in the shower, get some shaving cream. and lather up and then start shaving..once your out of the shower put some baby oil on it ..and don't shave again till it starts to itch a bit..for me it's a once a month..and i've never gotten a rash or irratation..good luck..have fun..you'll enjoy the feeling and your wife or girlfriend will really enjoy it too..

Trust me when I say this DO NOT SHAVE. I just recently shaved it is not worth it, talk to a female friend about where to go to get waxed. I've yet to try it but the next time I think I will. You could also try using Nair for men it might work for you.

always shave in the same direction to avoid irritation. It won't get as close as shaving in opposite directions each time you shave, but it will save you on the redness, etc. Also, don't use steaming hot water. Use mildly warm water to loosen up the pores, but not hot enough to dry it out. Also, watch out for all those facial cleansers, lotions, etc that might make things worse. Good luck!

Shave in the direction, not against the hair growth. Of course, it won't be as close a shave but it is much better than razor burn and irritation and ingrown hairs.

Use the shaving cream that is for sensitive skin, such as the one Gillette makes.
