Sticks and stones may break my bones .... Words has a lesser impact on other peoples lives than actions. Look back on your life. What had a greater impact on you, people's words or their deeds. Did someone talk less but help more. Was there someone yapping away to disappear when you needed a helping hand? Was there someone caustic with their words but left you alone. Was there a silent sniper that spoke nicely to you and stabbed you in the back? I can go on and on. Hope you get the picture.

Actions always speak louder than words because talk is cheap . You can say anything . The proof is in the pudding .

Action is thought provoked. A dumb person may fail to put words into his mouth but his view points can be expressed by his actions.

there s a popular saying that.......

Promise me anything but show me the result.......

speaking is just like a magic..... 90 percent we wont act what we spoke...

but we may do certain things without speaking about it....

hence we believe in the act of success and not the word success.

just think quietly because again ..............

whatever am telling wont goes into your mind 100 percent ....

its just a small spark which helps you to think on own and realise the fact....

we attain great peace and satisfaction only by thinking and doing on our own and not by anything

take care.... all the best

says who?!
what about people like tennyson and voltaire and plato and aristotle, adam smith..they are, were and will be judged (loved and hated) for their words. at the same time there are people like florence nightingale (im going to extend the question to assume that by "man" we are talking about both men and women), sardar vallabhai patel who are judged by their actions....
luckily for us there are (and will hopefully always be) differential scales by which we measure people and their contributions to the world around them...

That is easy to answer. Someone may tell you that they will or have done something but you won't know if it was done until you SEE the results. It is not that they lie so much as misrepresent. How many times has someone said "I love you" and meant it from the heart?
