Cranberry juice will only help to keep your urinary tract clear. It will not cure a bladder infection. Also, a ton of people buy cranberry jucie COCKTAIL not actual 100% cranberry juice. Anyway, if you have an infection you need to go to the doctor for anti-biotics. drinking juice will not cure an infection.

the only way to know for sure that you have a bladder infection is if a doctor did a culture. So you should have been put on antibiotics. when using these for bladder infection you should be eating a lot of yogurt as to not get a yeast infection. Above all else you should be drinking cranberry juice all the time every day even if you don't have an infection, because you are suspectibale to them. If you have not seen the doctor. and want to try the cranberry juice to see if it gets better go for it. But it is not usually a cure it is a prevention. And you can drink any flavor you like. personally I didn't like any but learned to live with cranberry rasberry

I have had many problems with my kidneys since I was about 12 years old. Cranberry juice isn't always the best choose. I have tried it myself , but mine always came back. You need to see a doctor. Women are actually not suppose to have more than 2 to 3 infections during their life. It might not be a bad idea to see a gynecologist or urologist. They can perform better tests to see if what you have is actually an infection or a urinary spasm. It is good to drink cranberry juice along, however, because it helps coat your bladder so bacteria cannot stick to it. Remember to lay off sodas and drink plenty of water to prevent future infections.

If you can avoid the use of antibiotics, then I would. Doctors are now making people aware of the effects of using antibiotics too often. I have used cranberry juice and cranberry capsules. They both worked for me, and I had the infection to the point where I bled when I urinated. I would try using one of these methods for a day or two. If you don't feel any better, then I would go and ask about antibiotics. A day or two trying these remedies will not harm your body.

You can take Uristat over the counter med to relieve the pain, discomfort, and urgency to pee. You will need to get an antibiotic from a doctor though, to clear up the infection. Drink lots of water and or cranberry juice too. You can also take cranberry pills.

you need to go to the dr you cant just try at home remedies....thats one thing that you cant really jus sit around and try something you need meds...now a urinary tract infection if you had one drink cranberry juice and water, and its this pill you take from teh drug stores that cleans your urinary tract out...but bladder infection go to the dr please, and its funny that every one said cranberry juice but that only helps your urinary tract, not your BLADDER some people cant hold their bladder and drinking will only make it worse...but if you want try it but remember BLADDER, and urinary is two different scenarios...cranberry juice works for the urinary tract but bladder infections start from having a urinary tract infection that works its way to your bladder, once it gets to your bladder its a little more complexed than just taken cranberry pills and drinking juice...but you can stop a BLADDER infection by drinking juice or taken a pill...but once you have it you need antibiotics

Cranberry juice is good to drink to flush out your bladder. You should have gotten a prescription for an antibiotic from your doctor.

If your doctor did a urine culture, antibiotics may be the only way to rid yourself of it. Of course, drink tons of non-carbonated fluid to flush out bacteria. But a lot of bladder infections in women are caused by e coli and you might need a prescription.
