There are lotions that make you tan but they look extremely fake so I would suggest to go tanning

no matter what you do make sure you get a yearly skin check by your doctor. i went for years in the sun getting burnt so it would fade to a tan thinking it was great because i'm really pale too, then i went to the tanning bed for like the last 8 years or so. well i just had a small melanoma removed from my thigh a few months ago. no more tanning bed here, and sunscreen outside always. pale is better than dead from skin cancer!! the Jergens works great, just don't put it on thick all at one time and spread it evenly.

Okay then. There ARE alternatives to tanning beds and actually using "fake-and-bake" tanning gels and lotions. I unfortunately do not remember the name(s) of these products. However, you will want to go to your nearest GNC store and look for something with "melatonin" in it. Melatonin is what makes your skin darker and protects your skin from the sun's UV and UVA/UVB rays. Follow the directions on the bottle and you will notice soon enough darker skin. Don't worry about side effects. So far, there have been none whatsoever proven or even detected with using melatonin supplements!

use bare essentials make-up. go to a sephora and ask the people working there. they are always very helpful, and will show you the best things to use. for your whole body i have found there is a no-ad sunless tanner (i think) that is a "gradually darker" lotion that works incredibly well. it smells funny at first, but it wears off in about 10 min. my friend is probably as pale as you and she tested a small spot to see what it would do, and it looked real, not orange. i'm sorry i wish i could remember the name for you. it's not jergins either =]

why not work with what you have. Being pale is hot. although if you dont want to go to the tanning bed or be in the sun then your only 2 options would be getting bronzer or using tinted lotions or powders

I can relate girl. I am so pale I have been nicknamed "Powder."

The best, most natural self tanner lotion I have found is Jergens. Try it. It's pretty cheap. You'll love it, I know I do.

Check out a spray tan. A professional sprays it on with something like an airbrush gun. My sister said she even got to pick out the color. I have to say being a natural sun tanner that I totally respect some one who stays out of the sun. Their skin will be beautiful for years longer.

I heard the military used some pills to help them blend into darker races over a period of time. I wonder if they've ever commercialized these pills.

ok, without sun, tanning beds or lotions you really have no option. Love your pale skin! its what god gave you, and you wont have to worry about premature aging from the tanning!

Accept the fact that you are white. And flip anyone off who says anything: Yes, I'm a white girl. I had cancer. Don't want to go there again. I wear hats most of the time.
