OK, so I'm a retired school teacher and not a CPA or such, but I love numbers, they talk to me. For example, if I sell on ebay and want to keep track of how much I paid for my item I am selling and then want to keep track of costs invovlved in
selling it and see eventual long term profit etc, is there a software program or something you might suggest for me. PLease don't call me dumb, I'm tired of those kinds of answer on ask and answer because 90% of answers have been so so helpful :) ANd remember, graphs, charts, and numbers speak to me :)

Quick books is a good basic program but I would add in a quarterly audit by a CPA.

Good luck in your venture.

I would say Quickbooks or Quicken..You can find both at your local office supply store.
