Usually girls arent the ones that are hard to talk to. Most of them are talkers and have no problem talking about stuff. You can just ask whats new? hows your day going? do you have anything cool planned? Anything usually works.

the art of touch is by far the best way to communicate,
start with a light touch of fingers find eachothers fingerprints by touch.Followed by silent glances of communication try this in a very large crowd!! it is the most exciting way to communicate especially when you try to carry on a conversation without speaking(out loud)

Girls love to think you are interested in things that interest them. Be specific when you ask about her day. If she goes to school, you could ask about a particular class that you know she a) is really interested in or b) a class that she might want to vent about.
Oh and look at her when you're talking.

alll that 'hey baby how was your day" stuff is crap.
girls dont want to talk about their day, unless something super happened, which she would tell you without being asked, i suggest just saying whatever comes to mind, be fresh, not fake, we can tell. and if its hard to start a conversation with her, than maybe you shouldn't be dating. I'd like a boy who I can talk to easy, not someone who can't think of anything to say.

My boyfriend started conversations with me by asking: "What's going on - tell me everything". Then he would really listen and add humour or an interesting perspective. We could talk for hours and I knew he really understood me and vice versa.
