I already have a B.A. in Spanish. Is the Bachelor degree in Graphic design what's important or that you have a bachelor degree period to compliment the Graphic design training? I want to get the most for my money?

Since you already have a BA in Spanish, you can complete another bachelor's degree in a year or 18 months. That's the best route for you.

If you want to be in graphic design, that should be your major. With all due respect to the person who recommend a degree in computer science, this it NOT what you need.

The computer science degree will NOT give you the design background you need. That program will focus on the technical aspects of computing, not design areas such a PhotoShop, InDesign, and the other areas that are important in the career you desire.

Once you have the design degree, put together a portfolio of your best work and go for it. Most places do NOT require 5 years experience; there are many places where you can start out with your graphic design degree and minimal work experience.

Good luck.

Its best to get a Bachelor in Computer Science. If you have a degree already go back and see if you can get credits in the computer field. Other than that to get the job you need the experience also. Most places wont even look at you unless you have 5yrs at least. Best bet go to school for computers and get an internship at the same time. Or see about job placement services at the school.

Thanks David for that info. I was always told to get the Computer science degree and minor in graphics..

Yes, a Bachelors Degree would be helpful here.
