I have found that chanel doesnt crease- but the best failsafe is to
clean your eyelid- I know its already clean but you get a small amount of eye-grease as the day goes along so clean it just before you apply tha next.
apply foundation- or mattifying product all over your eyelid, - benefit do a good one called boi-ing which is actually made for this problem
Next leave for about 5 mins for it to settle- dont miss this bit out whatever product you use- or even if you miss out the last bit of the trick (ie missing out on the foundation), as this time is where your eye is adjusting to whats on it. If it becomes too overwheklmed by too much product, it will relase oil which will result in an uneven base and creases.
Now apply your grey eyeshadow.

I bought a lovely smokey greys eye pallet from Guerlain a couple of weeks ago - really easy to use, lovely quality. Costs about £20 but well worth it ;-)

"Onyx" -it's a combo of a lighter grey for your lid and a darker grey for your crease...works wonders!!!
And if you get the Primer to add to your lid before you apply eyeshadow, there will be no smears, no creasing, no fading, no pores! The color will be bold and the actual color you applied and it will last all day! I use it myself and I never go a day w/o it!!!

MAC and Smashbox are by far my favorite brands. Anything with high pigment should be ok though.
