Are dreams a mere reflection of our daily experience? What if we dream of a person, place, or ocasion and turn the dream into something tangible? Should we incorporate dreams into our daily lives?

I'm talking about the literal nightly dream. For instance a date with a woman in our lives. Or perhaps a party at a friend's house. Other wise you are refering to ambitions and goals.

You're thinking of two different kinds of dreams. The nightly variety, the dreams of sleep whose function is to help us reconcile life to our concerns and the ones of life which guide our path upon this world as we journey through time. Sleep dreams enable us to solve problems while life dreams motivate and encourage us to achieve.

Sure, why not. But there is a slight draw back. When you are "dreaming" that you own the red sports car out side, the beautiful woman walking down the street is your girlfriend, you live in a mansion and are a millionare. You may get a nasty surprise when the woman calls the police for sexual harrasment, and you're put in jail for theft of a car and breaking and entering.

I still can't fly (without a plane) and I've been dreaming about it for about 40 years now.........seriously, often times our dreams will lead us through a decision making process so in essence we are living our dreams....if we choose to listen.

Dreams are not the end of the journey. One dream fosters another.

You're assuming that our daily lives are not just another dream.... Maybe you should rephrase your initial statement. "Our perception of reality is a dream."
