man, i love that cartoon! and i love your avatar, too! how did you get it up there?
i have most of the collected books of the single and sunday strips, and my special favourite is th eone when his world becomes photo negative... i have to read those again sometime soon, they're brilliant! but me neither - i can't tell if hobbes is imaginary or an actual bipedal tiger! but does it matter? :)

They are so cool that on the day the last comic ran in the paper where I live. I just sat there for a long, long time filled with a huge sadness that my two buddies weren't going to be in print anymore.

Calvin and Hobbes is the best cartoon ever; warm, human and intelligent without ever being schmaltzy. Bill Watterson was a god, it was heartbreaking when he stopped writing it.

They are so cool and so well-loved, it has been many years since Bill Watterson retired, but he would instantly make millions tomorrow if he brought them back. That’s how much they are loved.

Calvin is tenacious, methodical, cunning, twisted.
His parents never seem to understand him, and
I can't tell if its a game with him or if he really has

WAY UNDERATED AND COMPLETLY AWESOME
they are my favourite comic strip, although their run ended before i was even born i own almost all of his book. i wish he would make a comeback, but it wont happen :(
