I met the wife of one of the editors/scrappers (last name is BeMiller) she says it takes quite a while, because the production isn't actually done in the U.S.
It is sent off to Japan to be finished.
She says she cannot wait for the series to be over, so they can leave the L.A. area. It is the only thing keeping them there.
But, I don't know if it takes months.

I may be wrong but I remember watching it on tv a while ago. Its a lot lot longer than you think, several months I think. You have to take into consideration the script writing (as seen as they've nearly done every story line) sound editing, making the cartoon itself and everything else that takes place.

I've heard that its nine months but I don't know how that could be true.
