do you nibble the tops of pens and pencils ?

Yes they are all squashed or split - I do keep a good one in my bag in case someone wants to borrow one though

I used to, when all my teeth were rooted in my jaw bones. A lower denture has eliminated old nibbling habits... I can't even nibble my fingernails, now. Which is actually a good thing.

Used to. At work, if I'm on the phone, I'll constantly fiddle with strips of staples and realise after some time that I've cut my fingers on them.
Not deliberately, you understand. Haven't reached that point yet.

i prefer to go straight for the meat of said pencils and pens. it is especially rewarding when after i have bitten through the pen i have ink stains on my cheeks.

Yes I do! Plus I stick pencils up my nose when I'm pondering a sudoku.

I used to at school and my pens would fill up with spit, yum yum. I didn;t know this until one day I sucked one and eugh! mouth full of days old freezing cold saliva! Never done it since.

I don't think I ever did. :s I don't know why. People used to give me chewed ones if I asked to borrow, though. I don't write much either, I type. It's hard to chew a keyboard.
