I have never been this way in the past and if it was to happen tomorrow i would still be the same, does this mean that i do not love the person because i refuse to beg them to stay eventhough inside it hurts like hell?.....or does it mean that i know i have no control over a person's decisions?..... why would i or should i be the one to try to manipulate a situation just to make someone stay?.... isn't it true that if you love someone you let them go, this is what i believe...... so let me know what you think?.... this is just a hypothetical question.

This would depend on the feelings you had for the person and whether the person really wanted to leave of if he was just having a bad day. Personally I would explore the situation more fully before making a reactionary decision. If you do truly love the person then they are worth fighting for. If the love is not true then dismiss them. Just playing the dating game by its stupid rules is wrong if there are actually feelings involved.

AHHH, Ouch. Maybe I would be weaker for a moment, pain you know. But I would pull up the old boot straps and find my strength.I would always remember the lessons that were meant to be learned, and hope like hell it made me a better person.I believe that if you truly love someone, you do everything that you can to let them know this, even if there is trouble between you. If it's the kind that ruins love, than do we do less to make them stay?? If we are forgiving of all do we fight for love,or watch it walk away?If you love someone you make them believe it as strongly as you do.If they still choose to leave, after hearing how much they mean to you, than why beg for a love that has waxed cold and is no longer reciprocated? Once again Rebellious, you tear me in2!

Holding onto to someone that wants to leave is a big mistake. That person would be miserable and so would you.

I think you hold onto your priciples, and don't let people walk on you...that's a good trait...I wouldn't again, I did it once and nothing but heartache..
