I am just trying to understand your poin of view. Don't start you "well is murder crap" either, how can you judge something you have never done or been forced to do?

i really never got into this issue until i read the book "the cider house rules"(good book)...this is one of those hard issues b/c people assume that if you're for it, you're evil and have no heart. well, i'm for abortion. I've never had it done and I don't think i would unless I was under some health conditions. I mean you can't look at abortion in general and say it's wrong it need to be outlawed.
Before someone says it's wrong, you're killing someone, they need to look at all aspects of a situation. Are they going to be the one to tell a 9 year old girl who was raped that she must now carry out a pregnancy that may kill her or scar her for life? I don't think so, but they will go right ahead and say it's wrong.
Then you have to look at it from a medical view. Technically, if you have the abortion done during a certain time after conception, you're not really killing a human being. I mean I know this sounds bad, but I'm going into medicine and I try to look at it both ways(morally and scientifically). After conception most of what you have is cells, not an actual baby or human being. That doesn't form for a few months after. Now I am not for having an almost full term baby aborted. I can see if the mother has health issues, but she should have had it done before she got that far in the pregnancy. That is taking a life because the baby is developed and a human being. I don't think my morals would let me personally have an abortion, unless I was in some kind of health danger that might kill me and the baby.
Really I see this whole issue as an invasion of privacy. Why is the government stepping in and telling women what they can and can't do with their bodies? It's probably because the citizens are all in each others business. I feel like this issue is something that should be left up to the mother and father(if there is one). If they want it they should be able to keep it. If not, then they can have the abortion. It's not my right or anyone else's to judge them for their decision, because God does that. so why can't everyone just get over it and let people do what they want. Even if it is made illegal, people will do it "under the table" with unpracticed doctors and endanger themselves. At least with it legal, they would be practicing under safe conditions and get the best treatment possilbe.

Abortion is a tough subject these days.
I believe one of the reasons so many people are against abortions is that one of God's commandments is :Thou shall not kill. Some people view abortion as killing the fetus.
Other people are not fortunate enough to be able to conceive a child and because they can't , they crave having a baby. They view abortion as a waste and believe they, and others like them, should have the opportunity to adopt an unwanted infant.
Some people just don't have anything else to take a stand against. They make a big deal out of anything just to get the attention.
Abortion is a life long decision. I'm sure it must weigh heavily upon the person having it done. Doubt and shame must cross their mind the rest of their lives. Life is so unpredictable, what if they abort, then later find out they can't conceive.
A warning to all; I know a girl who, to the best of my knowledge had two abortions (I hope she didn't have more than that). She and her husband have tried to have children but they can not. Actually, upon further thought, she and her first husband, and now second, could not. I personally believe there was so much scar tissue that the fetus couldn't attach itself to the uterus wall. So be careful.
Best thing to do, avoid getting pregnant in the first place.

because, a baby inside the womb is a living little human.
i wouldn't agree that that single fact is grounds to outlaw all abortions though, but it should be taken in the gravest of considerations that a beating heart, who would grow to be a person just like you would be stopped, silenced, er killed.
what right do you have to stop that heart? life does not begin at birth.
still though, like i say, abortion shouldn't be outlawed entirely. everything in this world is not always clearly wrong or clearly right and sometimes things we do are well, bad, (for lack of a better word) but nobody ever said life was fair

there are plenty of people for abortion that have "never done or been forced to do it".
so that argument's just silly, that would mean you can't have an opinion on anything you haven't done. i.e. you can't think that artwork is great cuz you;ve never been an artist
ridiculous,
okay, many people are against abortion cuz they in their hearts feel it is morally wrong. many people cannot commit murder, some can obviously. and if they feel it is murder, well that's up to them. you can't argue with what someone feels morrally, as they can't help it.
you are effectively preventing a baby from living, so that to me is murder. i cannot do it, as i could never kill a human. maybe you could.

Its just that it is so cruel. I am not talking about the cases where its done under duress of any form/kind.
If it were made legal, as it is in many places, people wouldnt take responsibility for their actions. One should prevent rather than get rid of it, it shouldnt be made easy, thats all.
