Some factory style clamps need to be 'cut' off. Usually loosening the screw and then pry with a flat bladed screwdriver. It will take some patience. Then use your typical hose clamp from your local auto parts store.

If you have wire clamps, you either need a wire hose clamp plier or use a regular slip-joint plier. Every good auto parts store like Carquest, Federated, or NAPA will have what you need. Don't waste your time at the Advance or Autozone boutiques.

Go to Sears. Get the hose-clamp pliers. They are designed to remove those wire clamps.
