I couldn't find anything on a quick search but that doesn't mean it isn't true. Money makes the world go round and if this is the case, it's kind of sad that a landmark of such historical significance should have its name sold off to the highest bidder after 70 years.

It isnt crazy at all - look all over the country as once 'sacred' sports stadiums have their names changed to some stupid company or product; you think it is gonna end there?

i'm from lengthy island city, and that i'm use to calling Sears Tower. yet, i wager the prosperous rule the global. It became the dumbest theory that they are calling Willis Tower , sounds like a low classification tower or something.
