I very rarely wear eyeliner underneath my eye b/c everytime i do, it ends up all under my eye, making it look like dark circles. I have tried pencil liner, liquid and ever dark eye shadow, what is the problem? this doesn't happen to the upper lid......

My mom was a professional make-up artist and she met a few celebrities and when I asked her she said that it's because your eyes might be watery (maybe after you yarn) or something so you should get waterproof liner. And remover, it's hard to smudge and rinse off.

There can be a number of reasons why this is happening, but to fix, I would recommend going to a cosmetic counter and asking for an eyeshadow that you can use as a liner; Ideally one you would wet and apply. Chanel makes the best ones, they'll cost $30 or so, but worth it, it will last forever, and they dry back to a power finish so you can still use it as shadow. For the application, wet a brush, put it into the shadow...dab a bit off on a Kleenex before applying to your eye. You can line the inside of your eye lid, and a little underneath especially as your reach the outer corners. I think you'll find this stays on quite well.

i had the same problem.

UNTILL i found MAC fluidline in blacktrack and Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on in zero.

these two products won't budge on me!

first i apply MAC fluidline [which is a gel liner] underneath my eye, then i put the Urban Decay [a grease pencil, goes fast but sooooo worth it] over it.

the Urban Decay is also waterproof.
you could also wear the MAC or the Urban Decay by itself and it still won't smudge!

i highly recommend both products!

hope i helped!

it means ur sweating or have watery eyes, try waterproof eyeliner which well help tons. and mascara does this too so use waterprrof mascara. usually the liner can come off with water or soap and water.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.
