If there is a Creator and your judgement to eternity is based on the following premise, where do you think you stand today and why do you feel as you do?

All life is a precious gift. It is yours to care for until the end of your existence. It is also your responsibility to nurture the gifts of life that have also been given to every person you meet on your journey Treat these gifts with compassion, tenderness, and love.

I am in!!
I have dedicated my life to nurturing others, and showing them how to love themselves and others. This love and caring builds on itself, and starts a whole world of love. I believe we can achieve this if we are able to spend some time every day being selfless, sharing at least a little of ourselves.

If my judgement rests on how well I've undertaken that responsibility, then I've certainly failed. I have lacked compassion, tenderness, and love in some way every day of my life. I've acted out of complete self interest at the expense of others. I've hurt people and hurt myself. And, I think this is true of all of us.

Before you say, well I've (or he/she has) done pretty good, I'm a decent person (this may be true), DECENT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. Decent is a comparison to the average joe. The Creator doesn't grade on a curve, that's an unstable standard. The only stable standard of judgement is PERFECTION, or no judgement at all.

This is why mankind needs a Savior. Because we have all failed. We all fall short of the standard of judgement.
I'm working on caring for the gift of life, on compassion tenderness and love, but i'm still fall short of the standard.

To answer the first poster, I could argue with the entire premise of this quite easily.

That said, you want to know based on the existence of this hypothetical creator. I would probably rate about a 5-6 on a scale of 10. I try to never hurt anyone at all if possible, but don't nurture my "gifts" or use them to the best of my ability to help as many people as possible. So I am a neutral force as opposed to a force for good or evil.

Narcissism and altruism are at odds here. Oft times one must sacrifice consideration of others to insure the advancement of self. Inversely, oft times one must sacrifice self for the betterment of others. Mutually inclusive outcomes are rare,

I never hurt anyone intentionally, so i think i am in a pretty good shape. Of course, even when we have best intentions, they can hurt others, but i firmly believe it is about having clean, sincere heart and truly trying our best to do good, not only speak good.

If we approach the world with open arms without fear of retribution. I believe that is the point of spiritual perfection. But none of us is perfect. We just do the best we can with good intentions.
